Account Payment

The preferred method of payment is by credit card or cash. Company accounts may be established by prior arrangements with Management.

Adaptors and Transformers

The electrical current is 240 volts AC at 50 Hz. International adaptors are available from the Reception. A $20 deposit is refundable upon return of the adaptor.

Baggage Services and Storage

Guests are welcome to leave luggage at Reception on the day of departure for later collection. Please contact Reception for assistance.

Breakfast

Please refer to Dining Options section in this on-screen compendium.

Business Centre

A complete range of business services are available, including scanning, courier, photocopying, facsimile, word processing and typing. Please contact Reception for more information.

Conference Room

Adjacent to Quest Taupo, there are modern, well-appointed meeting and conference facilities. The conference room is equipped with a projector, large flat screen television, DVD player, whiteboard, flip chart, note pads and pens. Additional equipment can be arranged upon request.

A variety of room set-ups and catering options are available. For more information about the conference facilities available, please contact Reception.

Car Parking

Quest Taupo offers onsite, open air parking facilities. For more information, to obtain prices and to pre-book, please contact Reception.

Check Out Time

Check Out time is 10:00am. Please contact reception to arrange a late checkout, subject to availability. If no prior arrangements have been made, we reserve the right to charge a late checkout fee.

Children

Baby Sitting Service
Please contact Reception for our recommended in-room babysitting service. It is advisable to provide as much notice as possible.

Cots
Cots are available free of charge, linen included.

Highchairs
Highchairs are available free of charge. Please contact Reception.

Baby baths
Baby baths are available free of charge. Please contact Reception.

Disabled Facilities

Quest Taupo provides full wheelchair access into the property and offers full access Studio apartments. Please contact Reception for more information.

Dry Cleaning, Laundry and Pressing

A same day dry cleaning service is available Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays.

Laundry bags and dockets are located in your apartment wardrobe. Please complete the docket and take your dry cleaning to Reception before 09.00am for delivery the same afternoon.

For additional laundry items outside of the nominated times, please contact Reception.

Email

Guests may receive email while staying at Quest Taupo. Guest emails are to be addressed to host@questtaupo.co.nz. Please request the sender to note “GUEST EMAIL FOR ***” in the subject line.

Extra Bedding

All One and Two bedroom apartments offer the option of an additional rollaway bed. Extra person charges are $30.00 per person per night. Please notify Reception of your requirements.

Facsimile Services

The main facsimile number for Quest Taupo is +64 (07) 929 8608. Any faxed documents received to your attention will be delivered to your room. Receiving faxed documents is complimentary.

Foreign Exchange

Quest Taupo has several banks located in the general area, which can assist with foreign exchange. Please see the Local Information section for more information.

Gymnasium

Quest Taupo offers complimentary guest access to an offsite gymnasium. Please contact Reception if you wish to use the gymnasium.

Housekeeping / Servicing of Apartment

Your apartment is serviced daily except for Sundays and Public Holidays unless otherwise arranged.

Please report any spillages or accidental damage to Reception immediately, as guests are responsible for any spillage, loss or damage to the appliances, furniture, fixtures and fittings in the apartment. Fair wear and tear is expected.

Where professional cleaning is required, the guest will be responsible for the costs.

Key Cards

For your convenience and security, we ask that you retain your key card during your stay and return it upon checkout. Please report lost cards to Reception immediately.

Lifts

Quest Taupo has no lifts.

Laundry

All rooms come fully equipped with in-room laundry facilities.

Luggage Trolleys

A luggage trolley is available. Please contact Reception for assistance.

Mailing Services

Mailing and shipping of local and overseas articles and parcels can be arranged with Reception. Your mail will be delivered to your apartment daily.

If mail is expected after your departure, we will be pleased to accept a forwarding address.

Maintenance

Should you experience any equipment failure in your apartment, please contact Reception.

Please note all guests are liable for any spillage, loss or damage to the appliances, furniture, fixtures and fittings in the apartment. Fair wear and tear is accepted.

The cost of professional cleaning, if required, will be charged to the guest account.

Newspapers

National and local newspapers are available at Reception. If you would like a specific newspaper ordered and charged to your room, please advise Reception the day before.

If you would like a morning paper delivered to your apartment, please organise this with Reception.

Non Smoking Apartments and Facilities

Quest Taupo has a strict NO SMOKING POLICY in all apartments except for private balconies and designated outside smoking areas.

Please respect this for the comfort of other guests. A cost of $500 will be charged to your account if the policy is not adhered to. This is to cover the cleaning of carpets, curtains, cushions, blankets and throws.

If smoking within the building triggers a fire alarm, a minimum cost of $750 will apply.

Noise

In consideration of other guests, Quest Taupo has a NO party policy.

NO loud noise is permitted in your apartment after 10:30pm. Quest Taupo prides itself on providing a homely and relaxing environment for the benefit of all guests.

Please ensure that your television, stereo and radio volumes are at a comfortable level so as not to disturb other guests.

If at any time you are disturbed by noise from either within or outside the property, please dial 0# to contact Reception or the resident manager after hours.

Parking

Open air onsite parking is available to guests, with direct apartment access. Your car registration number details are required at the time of check-in.

Pets

We regret that, with the exception of service animals, pets are not permitted at Quest Taupo.

Photocopying

A photocopying service is available upon request from Reception. A charge of $0.25 per page applies.

Printing

Guests may print documents via Reception. A charge of $0.25 per page applies.

Privacy

A “Do not disturb” sign is provided at the back of your apartment door. Please place the sign outside of your apartment door should you require privacy.

Public Transport

The public bus station is located 20m from Quest Taupo. Full timetables are available from Reception.

Security

For your security, the front doors are locked from 7:00pm – 7:00am.

Overnight access can be gained with your apartment key card.

Please use your key card for your own access only, and ensure others do not enter the property. Please report any security issues immediately to Reception.

Taxi

Reception is pleased to arrange a taxi, shuttle or limousine service to your desired location.

Towels

Extra towels can be obtained from Reception.

Visitors To Your Apartment

For your safety and security, we recommend that all visitors register at Reception.

After 11pm, no visitors are permitted at the property except for registered guests, for the safety and security of all in-house guests.

No parties or large groups of people are permitted in the apartments without prior approval by Management.

Quest Taupo has a NO PARTY POLICY. Guests will be asked to leave the property if this policy is not adhered to.
